Foxconn has reported July revenues of NT$315.06 billion (US$10.62 billion), up 7.53% year-on-year. Its revenue would have been even higher but strong consumer electronics income was offset by poorer performance elsewhere in the business … Digitimes reports that market watchers are of course expecting growth to accelerate this month, with strong income through to the end of the year thanks in large part to iPhone production. Starting November 10, for the next two months Google will be providing free Wi-Fi access in in many major US Airports as a “holiday gift.” Virgin America has teamed up with Google and is the only airline that will give out free Wi-Fi access during the entire flight. The deal will run until January 15, 2010, and several airports, including Burbank and Seattle, will continue the free Wi-Fi service indefinitely....

FX CEO John Landgraf comments again on the cancelled Deadpool animated TV show that was in development from Donald Glover and Stephen Glover, blaming Marvel for it not happening. FX Networks and Marvel TV officially announced the animated Deadpool TV show in May 2017, with both companies seemingly excited to work together on another project following the critical hit Legion. After reaching the top of App Store charts, the hit iOS game Flappy Bird will be removed from the App Store. According to tweets from the developer Dong Nguyen, it sounds like the game will be removed from both the iOS and Android app stores in just 22 hours. In the tweets, Nguyen says he “cannot take this anymore” and refers to the game’s success as ruining his “simple life.” He says the decision has nothing to do with legal issues....
